About 12-21-2012 and the Time of Transition We Are In
MORE ABOUT DECEMBER 21st, 2012
(and 12-12-12 too)
As you probably noticed, yesterday was 12-12-12. I received more than one inquiry about the significance of this,
and was even interviewed by both radio and newspaper concerning the meaning of 12-12-12. I won't go into the exact details
of what we discussed in the interviews (as I don't feel like "re-hashing" what I already had to say several times).
However, what I would like to say here, for YOU, dear newsletter reader, is that to me, 12-12-12
was a gateway into 12-21-12, which furthermore is a gateway into accelerated TRANSFORMATION and
potential global joy & bliss.
The world is NOT going to end on Dec. 21st, 2012. (Sorry to disappoint any apocalyptic-holics
here.) Nor is the entire human race going to become instantly enlightened when the Winter Solstice sun begins its journey
through the dark rift of the Milky way on December 21st.
Although I do respect the right for every single person to believe whatever she chooses, I must point out that both
of these two above-mentioned perspectives are both very EXTREME, and do represent the "black
& white" thinking that was so common in the Piscean Age. (And we are now leaving the age of Pisces behind!) It's
definitely true that there is a very special energy around this Dec. 21st, 2012 date, but it's also true that the
changes that are initiated through this energy will not happen all at once, but rather will take several years to complete.
Many people
are saying that December 21st, 2012 is a “gateway” to a special time of transformation and that we
should take advantage of this time to meditate, set intentions, and do affirmations. I agree
with this to a very great extent. However, what I definitely DISAGREE with is the idea that the “gateway”
is only open on December 21st, 2012, and that this one single day might be the only chance of spiritual
redemption & transformation for humanity.
Quite frankly, what makes December 21st, 2012 so special to me isn’t that it might coincide with the end
of the Mayan calendar, but instead is the fact that on this day, our Winter Solstice sun will begin its passage through the
“Dark Rift” region of the Milky Way galaxy (which, by the way, this “Dark Rift” was viewed as being
very significant to the ancient Mayans). However, do keep in mind that this passage through the “Dark Rift”
will actually take about twenty years or more for our Sun to complete (20 years!). So truly, when I say that December 21st, 2012 is just a BEGINNING, and
not an ending, I do honestly mean it!
The other phenomenon that is powering all the excitement around December
21st, 2012 is the idea that our solar system will align with the Galactic Center on this day. This is a once every
26,000 years or so event, so there is definitely significance with this. However, this too is a bit difficult to pin down
to only one day, since basically this alignment with the Galactic Center is a about a 36 year long transit (!) that began
in 1980, and does not complete itself until sometime around 2018.
You see, when you are dealing with a phenomenon
that takes places only about once every 26,000 years (roughly speaking), then it takes far more than a single day (or even
a single year) to culminate. It's true that it is widely accepted that this conjunction will be more "exact" on
December 21st 2012, but basically it is in effect during the entire 36 year period (from 1980-2018). Also, it is
very difficult to actually pin this alignment down to just one day, because it is more likely that what we are experiencing
isn't quite an "exact" alignment, but a very close alignment, which nonetheless does have great effects
upon those of us living on planet earth.
Now that we are nearing the end of this 36 year solar-galactic transit,
we are really starting to become more consciously aware of its effects and seeing its power (especially the way it is breaking
down & chipping away at the old paradigms of greed & domination on our planet). However, we must not forget that we
still have at least 4-6 YEARS ahead of us in regards to feeling the effects of this transit.
I think the difference
will be that once December 21st, 2012 has come and gone, we can begin to really get GROUNDED (if we have not done
so already) and INTEGRATE in what we have learned in the last couple of decades or so as a result of this shift....in other
words, it will be a time
for those of us on the spiritual path to really begin WALKING OUR TALK (if you have not already done so).
In particular, once the "December 21st 2012 Galactic Alignment event' has come and gone, it will
be a time to truly WAKE UP and get busy doing what you know you need to be doing to stay spiritually healthy
& centered, and start living your higher purpose in service of the planet (if you have not yet already begun to do so
already). Also, I do believe that in the days, months, and years that immediately follow Dec. 21st 2012, there
will be many so-called "average" or "ordinary" people who will start to wake up to a sense of higher meaning
& awareness in their lives, and these "ordinary" people will go on to do "extraordinary" things for
the good of humanity.
As I have said many times before, December 21st 2012 is only the BEGINNING of transformation, not the end.
